How To Get Away With Murder Season 3: Is Wes Really Dead?

How To Get Away With Murder Season 3: Is Wes Really Dead?

How To Get Away With Murder season 3 dropped another mystery. Wes’ body is missing making fans think that he might be alive. Is Alfred Enoch’s character really dead?

The latest episode of the hit drama series showed Laurel breaking down at the memorial of her ‘dead’ boyfriend and the father of her baby. Luckily, Michaela was around to assist her and make sure she does not do anything stupid. The friendship of the two seems to be developing because of the tragedy.

After shouting at the people who attended Wes memorial despite not personally knowing him, Laurel went to see his body. She came to the morgue with Nate but both were surprised to know that his body is missing which supports the theory that someone is framing Annalise.

The defence attorney has been in jail for quite some time. Bonnie cannot get her out of prison so she decided to take the matters into her own hands. Annalise let her inmate beat her to convince the judge that she needs to be released on bail. She finally decided to fight back and defend herself after learning that her mother is showing early signs of dementia.

In the upcoming How To Get Away With Murder season 3 episode 13 titled “It’s War,” Viola Davis’ character is expected to face the people conspiring to bring her down. She has to fight back and identify the person attacking her and her students. Wes deserves justice and she is the only one who can give it to him.

Meanwhile, How To Get Away With Murder has been renewed for another season. ABC has confirmed that there will be season 4. Stay tuned for more updates!

Attack On Titan Season 2 Air Date Revealed, More About Eren, Mikasa And Armin

Funimation has announced that Attack on Titan season 2 will start airing on April 1. The upcoming season of the anime series will explore more on the monstrous beings residing beyond the walls.

A trailer released in December 2016 reveals a new type of titan called “Beast Titan.” The man-eating monsters are expected to continue destroying the city. Eren, Mikasa, Armin and the rest of the soldiers will keep on fighting for their safety and freedom.

In the Attack on Titan season 1, humans with the ability to transform into titans were introduced. At first, everyone despised Eren for having such ability but they later realised that they can actually take advantage of his power to defeat the monsters plaguing them.

In Attack on Titan season 2, the war against the titans will continue. However, fighting will not be the only business of the main characters. Eren is expected to dig deeper into the origin of his ability. He might go back to the basement of their house to gather information. The main protagonist has many questions which he wants to be answered.

The backgrounds of Mikasa and Armin are also unknown. More about the two might be shown in season 2. In the manga version, the latter’s grandfather seemed to have done a significant act in the past. He probably got involved with a Colossal Titan like Eren’s father.

Attack on Titan season 2 will bring an extra level of action and adventure. Recent reports reveal that shocking twists and revelations are included in the highly anticipated anime. Stay tuned for more updates!

Google Chrome Beta Integrates Progressive Web Apps Into Android

Google Chrome Beta Integrates Progressive Web Apps Into Android

Google is adding a new feature to Chrome beta that integrates progressive web apps deeply into Android. The update allows app-like websites, such as Alibaba, AliExpress, 5miles and Flipkart Lite to be accessed on Android devices like installed native apps.

The “Add to Home screen” option in Chrome allows users to place progressive web apps on the home screen and app drawer of their devices. In the improved version of the feature which is coming to Chrome beta, web apps become ‘first-class citizens of Android’ and not just shortcut icons.

With this new version, once a user adds a Progressive Web App to their Home screen, Chrome will integrate it into Android in a much deeper way than before. For example, Progressive Web Apps will now appear in the app drawer section of the launcher and in Android Settings, and will be able to receive incoming intents from other apps. Long presses on their notifications will also reveal the normal Android notification management controls rather than the notification management controls for Chrome.

The new update is now available in Chrome Canary and will be rolling out to the latest version Chrome beta in the next few weeks. The improvement is part of Google’s goal to help developers offer ‘the best possible experience for their users.’

Many companies are now using progressive web apps to grow their business and more are expected to adopt this new strategy considering the advantages. Progressive web apps have the combined power of the web and mobile apps. PWAs can be accessed on the web even without an internet connection which is advantageous both to the users and developers.

Additional information about progressive web apps can be read here.

Mozilla Gives Up On Firefox OS

February 4, 2017 by Nica De Leon Leave a Comment

Mozilla Gives Up On Firefox OS

Mozilla has already given up on Firefox OS, its open-source operating system for devices. The non-profit organisation will be shifting its focus on emerging technologies.

Firefox OS is the product of Mozilla’s connected devices initiative. The main advantage of the alternative operating system is that users no longer have to install apps to use them.

However, it was unable to keep up with competitors like Android and iOS. Though Mozilla has launched Firefox-powered devices in different countries, the OS struggled to get acceptance. Google and Apple’s mobile operating systems are dominating the market.

Mozilla has released a statement to CNET revealing its new future plans. The organisation will be exploring new projects.

“We have shifted our internal approach to the internet-of-things opportunity to step back from a focus on launching and scaling commercial products to one focused on research and advanced development, dissolving our connected devices initiative and incorporating our internet-of-things explorations into an increased focus on emerging technologies.”

The Firefox OS creator has already eliminated the team working on the project. Reports reveal that 50 employees were affected by the company’s recent move. Senior Vice President Ari Jaaksi who is in charge of the team is said to be leaving.

Some members of the team were reportedly moved to other departments. They still have the chance to stay at Mozilla and apply for new positions.

Password Growth Increases Cyber Security Risk, Report Says

Password Growth Increases Cyber Security Risk, Report Says

More usernames and passwords will be created in the coming years. The number of passwords will grow from 90 billion to 300 billion by 2020, according to a research conducted by Cybersecurity Ventures.

As the number of people going online increases, the cyber security risk is also growing. More human and machine accounts means more password will need to be protected from cybercriminals who are just waiting for the perfect timing to victimise people.

The research reveals that more than 3 billion user credentials and passwords were stolen last year. Cybersecurity Ventures predicts that the hacking incidents will rise every year as password growth continues due to increase in the number of IoT devices and social media usage. As a result, annual cybercrime damage will reach $6 trillion by 2021.

Joseph Carson of Thycotic Software states the significance of the result of the study to the tech industry. He warns unprotected passwords can damage businesses. The cyber security expert encourages everyone to educate themselves about the possible risks.

“It is a very scary truth that everyone, especially those running businesses, should aware of.  Our passwords are not safe which is concerning as they are literally the key to some of the most important information that businesses hold. Privileged account passwords especially are prime targets for hackers for good reasons. One privileged account password breach can allow a hacker to access and steal the credentials and passwords belonging to every employee in a company.”

Many tech experts consider the elimination of passwords as the best solution. Using biometrics instead is said to be safer. However, replacing passwords with biometrics might not happen so soon.

Google Chrome For iOS Moved Into Chromium Open-Source Repository

February 2, 2017 by Nica De Leon Leave a Comment

Google Chrome For iOS Moved Into Chromium Open-Source Repository

Google has announced that Chrome for iOS is now included in the Chromium open-source repository. Developers can now compile and modify the iOS version of the browser to create better ones for iPhone and iPad.

The iOS platform is more complicated than Android and the web which is why it took some time for Google to open-source Chrome for iOS. After years of hard work, the company can finally provide the code for the browser to developers who are ‘interested in learning about and contributing to the open-source projects.’

The testing information for the iOS version of Chrome is made available for faster development of better third-party web browsers. Developers now have the necessary design documents they need to start.

Given Chrome’s commitment to open-source code, we’ve spent a lot of time over the past several years making the changes required to upstream the code for Chrome for iOS into Chromium. Today, that upstreaming is complete, and developers can compile the iOS version of Chromium like they can for other versions of Chromium. Development speed is also faster now that all of the tests for Chrome for iOS are available to the entire Chromium community and automatically run any time that code is checked in.

Now that Chrome for iOS is already part of Chromium open-source, more developers are expected to create new web browsers for Apple mobile devices.
