The Last Guardian is coming to PlayStation 4 this Dec. 6. Sony has earlier revealed that the highly anticipated video game has been receiving positive feedbacks from gamers ahead of its release date. The number of pre-orders is overwhelming, as revealed by the game publisher.
Many players are excited about the action-adventure video game. Despite the delays, gamers’ eager anticipation for The Last Guardian never wavered. Joe Palmer, product manager of Sony has revealed that the number of pre-orders exceeded their expectations.
“We’ve seen a really positive response to the Collector’s Edition in particular, which despite its higher price point, proves there’s a huge appetite for the game,” Palmer stated, as per MCV.
The Last Guardian was first announced in 2007. The title has suffered many delays and was introduced again to the public at the E3 2015. After years of development, the most awaited game will finally be available next week.
The game is about a young boy and a giant bird-like mammal. The two fight their enemies together to escape and survive. Watch the cinematic trailer of The Last Guardian below!
Meanwhile, the download and install size of the The Last Guardian have been revealed. According to PlayStationLifestyle.net, the physical version is 15 GB while the size of the digital version varies depending on location. The title is 11.9 GB in North America and 12 GB if downloaded in Europe.
Lucky are the gamers who pre-order the game because they will get a theme and mini soundtrack. Two themes are offered to players in Europe who pre-order.
