Ubisoft is making Assassin’s Creed III free for PC players. Ubisoft Club members have the chance to grab a free copy of the 2012 instalment of the hit video game series starting Dec. 7.
The game developer is celebrating its 30th anniversary so it is giving away titles to its avid supporters. Assassin’s Creed III will be its last anniversary giveaway which will be available for 30 days. Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon, Beyond Good and Evil, The Crew and Rayman Origins were the games previously offered by the company including Splinter Cell and Prince of Persia: Sands of Time.
To download a free copy of the action-adventure video game, gamers can sign up to Ubisoft Club for free. Gamers now have the chance to revisit Assassin’s Creed III which is set during the American Revolution.
The game focuses on a new character named Connor who is a Native American assassin fighting for a cause. Desmond Miles, his descendant from the present is another playable character in the title.
Assassin’s Creed III received many positive reviews when it first came out. Despite the presence of some glitches, many liked the video game for its storyline and adventures. It is filled with conspiracy theories about the American Revolution which make the game extra exciting.
The title has a multiplayer mode in which players try to eliminate other gamers while avoiding the soldiers, as per Gamespot. There are many modes included in Assassin’s Creed III to keep the players busy.
