Blizzard Reveals New Overwatch Character

Blizzard is introducing a new character for Overwatch named Efi Oladele. The 11-year-old tech and robotics genius could be the 24th hero of the hit video game.

At a young age, Efi has already accomplished a lot in the field of robotics and artificial intelligence. She even received an award for being excellent in the said fields. An in-universe interview reveals some details about the new character.

Efi has always been interested in robots. She wants to use her knowledge and skills to help others.

“Well, I’ve always been interested. After my mom and dad got me my first robotics kit, I became obsessed with putting together little drones. When I started to get good at it, I tried to build robots to do my chores and help around the house. My parents think it’s cheating… It’s no fair! I want to create things that make our lives better. And someday, my dream is to build something that can keep us safe, like the new OR15s! I think that would be great,” she said during the in-universe interview posted on the official blog of Overwatch.

Blizzard has not yet confirmed whether Efi is a playable character or not. Some gamers are not yet convinced that she is a hero since she is still too young. More details about the new character are expected to be revealed soon.
