Good news Naruto fans!
Shonen Jump has confirmed that Lionsgate is developing a live-action movie adaptation of Naruto manga series. Michael Gracey will be directing the upcoming film.
Masashi Kishimoto, the creator of the manga will directly be involved in the production of the live-action film. Many fans are already excited for the movie while others are worried about the possible outcome of the project.
Hollywood does not have a good reputation when it comes to creating film adaptations of popular manga series. The participation of the author somehow eases the concerns of avid fans.
Naruto live-action will focus on the main protagonist Uzumaki Naruto who wants to be a Hokage of Konoha. Becoming the next leader of his village has always been his dream.
Naruto lost his parents when he was still a baby. His father, a Hokage, made him a vessel for the legendary nine-tailed demon fox which everyone fears. The beast sealed inside the young ninja’s body sometimes gives him the power to defeat enemies.
Naruto was able to defeat some strong opponents while on Nine-Tails Chakra Mode. However, the Nine-Tails sometimes refuse to work with him.
Having a beast inside him makes the ninja different from others. Some people in his village avoid him. Only those who see his dedication and those who truly know him accept him.
Uzumaki Naruto has a unique friendship with Sasuke Uchiha and Sakura Haruno. The three are the original team members of Team Kakashi.
In terms of release date, Lionsgate is yet to announce the schedule. Naruto live-action adaptation is already in pre-production stage so it will be available in theaters soon.
Kishimoto Sensei involved with the production and is really excited. Pre-production art revealed.
