Samsung Galaxy S8 will most likely be the most powerful smartphone next year. The 2017 flagship phone of the South Korean smartphone maker is expected to feature the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor.
Qualcomm and Samsung recently revealed the newest Snapdragon premium processor which is the product of their collaboration. Recent reports reveal that Galaxy S8 will be the first smartphone to sport the said processor.
Samsung announced that Snapdragon 835 will be in commercial devices early in 2017. There is a great chance that Galaxy S8 will be powered by the processor since the upcoming model is expected to be revealed at the Mobile World Congress which will be held in February to March 2017.
What can Snapdragon 835 do?
Samsung Galaxy S8 will have better performance with Snapdragon 835. The processor has Quick Charge 4.0 technology which makes charging faster. Also, the processor for mobile devices reduces the power consumption by 40 percent. This means additional time for users to enjoy their smartphones.

In addition to the powerful processor, Samsung’s 2017 flagship phone will reportedly have 6 GB RAM which is better than that of Galaxy S7. Many are predicting for an optical fingerprint scanner in Galaxy S8. There are also rumours that an iris scanner is one of the new features.
A virtual assistant like Apple’s Siri might be present in the upcoming smartphone. Like the iPhone maker, Samsung is reportedly planning to remove the physical home button of Galaxy S8 also. According to reports, it will be embedded under the tempered glass.
Camera and Price
In terms of camera quality, Galaxy S8 is said to feature 18 and 24 megapixels lens in the front and rear. Experts have estimated an $850 cost for the 2017 smartphone.
